Snap Army

Privacy Policy

Last updated

IFWORLD Inc. operates Snap Army. This policy covers information handled by our apps and website.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: email address, account identifier, and sign-in information, including the password you submit when signing in.
  • Work photos and details: photos you upload and related information, including capture dates, captions, tags, and locations.
  • Location: with your permission, your device’s location to suggest work locations or update their coordinates. Coordinates associated with saved photos and locations are sent to our service.
  • Technical information: device identifiers, app and operating-system versions, notification identifiers, IP addresses, usage, crash, performance, and server-request information.
  • Support information: information you provide when requesting help. The app’s Support Report stays on your device until you choose to share it.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide Snap Army, including signing you in, storing and syncing photos, organizing work, checking photo integrity, providing support, fixing problems, and keeping the service secure.

We do not use analytics or advertising services. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

3. Device permissions

The app requests camera access to take photos and location access while you use it. You can change permissions in Settings or decline location access and assign work locations manually.

Photos and pending changes are stored on your device for offline use and sent to your account when connected. Apple’s notification service supports silent background updates.

4. Storage and sharing

Customer data and backups are hosted in the United States on IFWORLD servers and Amazon Web Services (AWS). IFWORLD handles Snap Army’s email.

We use security safeguards to protect information. AWS’s data-protection terms restrict its use of customer data and require confidentiality and security safeguards. IFWORLD remains responsible for this policy’s commitments.

The apps use Apple Maps. The website uses Google Maps, which can receive your IP address and browser information and use cookies under Google’s Privacy Policy.

Photos are accessible through customer accounts. We may also disclose information when required by law.

5. Website cookies

The website uses cookies to maintain your sign-in session and remember your time zone. The time-zone cookie lasts up to one year. You can block or remove cookies in your browser, but blocking sign-in cookies can prevent account access. We do not use cookies for advertising or analytics.

6. Retention and your choices

We keep customer data and backups while the customer account is active. When a customer requests deletion of their account, we delete the account’s data and backups within 30 days of the request.

To request access, correction, a copy of your information, withdrawal of consent, or account deletion, email info@snaparmy.com. We may verify your identity and authority over the account. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not request account deletion.

Account deletion does not erase copies you have downloaded separately or shared with other people.

Additional rights, including restrictions, objections, appeals, and complaints to a regulator, depend on applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

7. Children’s privacy

Snap Army is a business service, not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided such information.

8. Policy updates and contact

Updates will be posted here with a revised date. We will provide notice of material changes as required by law.
